David Hannah Marketing was founded in 2020 by David Hannah, a New Zealander who has called Byron Bay home for six years. David Hannah Marketing combines his professional and personal experiences in marketing and business across four continents. The brand originated from a brainstorming session on common mistakes made by marketing professionals. Several recurring themes emerged: lack of trust-building, poor client management, and transparency issues. From a technical standpoint, many marketing professionals lacked understanding of statistics, formal business education, and real-world experience, which hindered their effectiveness.

To showcase his unique approach, David challenged himself to publicly build three social media accounts to viral status across three niches. He argued that if he couldn't drive significant traffic on simple platforms publicly, it made no sense to trust him with more complex ones privately. Thirty-five million views later, David successfully demonstrated how to build an engagement-based brand. This commitment to transparency and accountability in an industry that often lacks both has become our differentiator. Today, we offer full-stack professional marketing services to companies both across Australia and globally.
